Children’s Program
A program designed for ages 18 months to 7 years old. This program takes the basics of ballet technique, giving the children a fun and educational class while working on motor skills, musicality and coordination. Exposure to ballet and the arts offers a treasure trove of valuable life skills like team work, creativity, confidence and focus.

Adult Ballet
Weather you’re looking for a physical challenge, a creative outlet, or a chance to connect with others, adult ballet training offers a wealth of benefits.
Improved strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health and stamina. Enhanced balance and coordination.

Pre-Professional
This program offers unlimited classes and is designed to ensure the success of students in both pursuing a dance related college degree and advancing in the professional dance world. Students are also expected to act as ambassadors for TCBS. Enrollment in this program is by audition only.

Classical Ballet Program
This program is the next step in dance education for students aged 8 and up. Under the guidance of our renowned leadership team, students refine their dance skills as they experience physical, emotional, intellectual and self-confidence growth.

Contemporary Dance Program

Tampa City Ballet School with 23 years of excellence in dance education is expanding its legacy! We're thrilled to announce the opening of Tampa City Dance Center, a contemporary space dedicated to innovation, creativity, and movement. Together, these sister schools are creating a dynamic home for dancers of all ages and levels. From classical ballet to cutting-edge contemporary, we are committed to offering the highest quality training with world-class instructors, small class sizes, and a nurturing environment.

About TCBS
Our School is reconigzed nationally and internationally for its training.
The syllabus introduces students to all aspects of dance training, prioritizing the delicate balance of technical proficiency and artistic expression. Dancers learn how to appreciate and collaborate with other art forms and translate what they learn in class into other aspects of their life.

Performance opportunities
All students are exposed to art and gain a wider understanding of cultural experiences. Twice a year students perform a ballet from the classical repertoire. Our pre-professional students are invited to dance with the professional company, Tampa City Ballet, a creation based contemporary dance company with a unique fresh and innovative repertory.
