PRE-PROFESSIONAL DIVISION
Designed for dancers 14+
This program provides the training necessary to succeed in the professional dance world and for students planning to continue dance in college. Classes include ballet technique, pointe, partnering, variations, modern and contemporary. Dancers will be held to a higher standard and are expected to act as ambassadors for ABS.
Students in this track are elegible to participate in Tampa City Ballet productions.

White, black, and royal blue leotard. . Pink or skin tone convertible tights, pink or skin tone ballet slipper, pointe shoes, rehearsal tutus, white and black wrap skirts.f
Free day leotard: Any color camisole style leotard. Skin-tone leotard is required for performances.
Hair: Ladies hair must be secure in a bun all times for ballet class. Dancers are allowed to have different hairstyles such a twists, braids, and cornrows into the ballet bun. If hair is short, please use a headband. No hair accessories!! (Scrunchies, beads, bun covers or bows)
For safety, no jewelry beyond stud earrings is allowed.
Boys: White fitted t-shirt or white men’s cap sleeve leotard, black bike shorts or Boy’s footed tights (White and Black), white lightweight ankle socks and white ballet shoes (Fitted)
America’s Ballet School is committed to ensuring that all our dancers have uniform options that honor their unique selves and enable them to feel confident while dancing. For our dancers that prefer to wear skin tone tights and shoes, many mainstream dancewear brands, offer products that can be purchased in a variety of skin tones.
